Penn and Philadelphia Police responded to a report of an assault with a firearm in the 4000 block of Market Street. Upon arrival, Police discovered that a person had been shot while inside a business, and they were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. No other injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’9” tall, medium build, wearing glasses, a black face mask, blue jeans, and a black and red shirt. The suspect was last seen riding an electric scooter, with a seat and orange wheels, westbound on Market Street towards 41st Street. Eastbound Market Street remains closed while Police investigate. Police and security continue to patrol the area.

Penn and Philadelphia Police responded to a report of a robbery without weapon in the 3500 block of Market Street. The suspects demanded the complainant's belongings and then fled. No physical injuries were reported. The suspects are described as a group of five to ten teenagers wearing black hooded sweatshirts and black ski masks. The suspects were last seen heading east on Market Street. Police and Security continue to patrol the area.

Penn and Philadelphia Police responded to a report of gun shots fired with no reported injuries in the area of 40th and Market Street. Upon arrival, Police discovered that there were several shell casings at the eastbound stairwell to the SEPTA platform and on the train. There is no suspect description at this time. The suspect was last seen in the area of the SEPTA platform at 40th and Market Streets. There are no reported injuries. Police and Security continue to patrol the area.

Penn and Philadelphia Police responded to a report of gun shots fired in the area of the 4300 block of Market Street. Upon arrival, police found that two individuals had been shot. The suspect is described as an older Black male, approximately 5’10” tall, wearing a brown jacket with a fur collar and blue pants, last seen heading south on 43rd Street from Market Street.

Penn and Philadelphia Police responded to a report of an unaffiliated gunshot victim in the 4000 block of Walnut Street, following a dispute between two patrons of the movie theater located there. The suspect left the area moments after the shooting and Philadelphia Police, with our assistance, is pursuing this investigation.

Penn Police responded to a report of a robbery without weapon in the 4000 block of Walnut Street. Upon arrival, police discovered that a group of teenaged males had approached the complainant and demanded his jacket. The suspect is described as a teenaged Black male, 6’ tall, thin build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a surgical mask, accompanied by several other teenaged males. They were last seen in the area of the 4000 block of Walnut Street.
